Angel Reese Reveals Feelings About New Chicago Sky Coach

The Chicago Sky recently announced the hiring of head coach Tyler Marsh. Marsh reportedly signed a multiyear contract with the Sky after serving as an assistant coach with the Las Vegas Aces for the 2024 season. Shortly after the Sky's announcement, Chicago star Angel Reese posted a subtle message that could certainly be tied with the news.

"W." Reese said. The WNBA star will likely be a major part of Marsh's game plan with the Sky, alongside a couple of other Chicago stars like Chennedy Carter and Kamilla Cardoso.



Reese and Cardoso are widely viewed as the future of the franchise after each player was selected in the top ten of the 2024 draft. W. Marsh was fired as an assistant coach with the Aces in March 2022.

He spent a couple of years in Las Vegas, helping lead the Aces to back-to-back WNBA titles in 2022 and 2023. Before joining the Aces in 2022, Marsh spent two years as an assistant coach and player development manager with the Indiana Pacers. He's also spent time with the Toronto Raptors and a few NBA G League teams like the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Iowa Energy.

6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game, helping the Sjy earn a 13-27 record as the No. 10 team in the WNBA standings.

Reese finished the year at No. 2 in Rookie of the Year voting, behind Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark, after leading the league in average rebounds and being the only rookie to average a double-double.
