ANDY MURRAY has revealed that he has lost five kilos since retiring from tennis. The British sporting icon, 37, hung up his racquet last month following an emotional run at the Paris Olympics. Alongside pal Dan Evans he battled through two gruelling matches in the men's doubles, before falling in the quarter-finals to American duo Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul in his final ever match.

Since quitting tennis, Murray has spent plenty of time on the golf course. Yesterday he even took part in a Pro-Am at Wentworth alongside Scottish player Bob MacIntyre. While appearing at the event in Surrey, Murray lifted the lid on his post-retirement weight loss.

He admitted: "I haven't been to the gym for five weeks. "I said to my wife, I was like, Look, I'm going to make sure when I stop, I'm going to make sure I stay in good shape. "And she said: 'Oh, if you're just going to go and play golf, I don't want that'.
