According to Google, this feature will enable users to "explore your new phone first and transfer your data later," allowing for a "swift initial setup while deferring data transfer until you are prepared." When you feel ready to proceed, you can initiate the data transfer post-setup through the Settings menu or the newly renamed Android Switch application, which is available for download from the Play Store.
Additionally, for those transitioning from an older Android device to a new one, an express setup option has been introduced, which only transfers the information stored on the device, excluding any data already backed up to the cloud.
