Google is more widely rolling out its Android Auto 14.1 update just as a newer version enters the beta program. Android Auto 14.
1 debuted in beta in March right as Google started rolling out support for games on the platform, though the two aren’t connected as we initially thought might be the case. As such, Android Auto 14.1 in itself isn’t all that exciting of a release, but it’s now rolling out more widely to users.
Google first released v14.1 to the stable track early this month, and it’s now rolling out more broadly as is the typical pattern for Android Auto updates. The rollout will still take a few weeks in total, but you can check the Play Store now and you’ll likely get this latest update.
As mentioned, there’s nothing particularly new this time around, but the update might end up fixing some of the niche bugs that are floating around with the platform.
