has announced its latest retro handheld gaming device, the RG406H. The device is scheduled to launch in China on November 19, 2024. The RG406H has a 4-inch IPS multi-touch display with an HD 960×720 resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio.
It has a 6nm Unisoc T820 chipset which Anbernic claims is powerful enough to emulate up to PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii. Moreover, with Android 13 on board, it can run games such as Genshin Impact and Honor of Kings, among others. The handheld device has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.
2 storage, with a microSD card expansion slot. It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5 connectivity and offers a USB-C port with 1080p Display Port output. In terms of controllers, it has an RGB 3D hall joystick, a D-pad, shoulder triggers, and a six-axis gyroscope sensor.
It is also equipped with a vibration motor to add some rumble to the gaming experience. Meanwhile, the 5000mAh battery can provide up to 7 hours of gaming. Anbernic has not yet released the official price of the RG406H, but expect the SRP to fall somewhere between $150 to $200.
