Anaheim officer shoots at man who threatened him, police say

Matt Sutter, a Police Department spokesman, said Sunday.One officer fired but did not hit the man, Sutter said. That man was arrested, and a gun was found in nearby bushes.

Officers then found a man who had been shot in a crime that Sutter attributed to the earlier gunshots. That man, an Anaheim resident, was hospitalized, He was expected to survive, Sutter said.The sergeant said investigators do not yet know who shot that man.
