Argentine classical crossover soprano Ana Magiar will be in a short filmed at Teatro Colón . The film shows the interview conducted shortly after Magiar’s return from the United Arab Emirates, where she was invited to the EMI GALA awards ceremony and honored with the “Star of the Night” award. Also, at the EMI GALA, she gave a performance of Lucio Dalla’s “Caruso.
” Having studied with music teachers from Teatro Colón, the interview is conducted by Luciano Ayala in this iconic theater. The interview explores her career from its beginnings to her award-winning moment in Dubai. In addition to the interview, the film will feature clips from her performance at the award ceremony.
Magiar has performed in the USA, Germany, Mexico, Italy, and Finland, among others. She has covered operatic roles at the Teatro Colon, Teatro Coliseo, Teatro Avenida, Teatro Libertador de Córdoba, the Magnificent National Auditorium of Mexico and the Imponent City Mall Festival in Dubai. She won the “Lobo de Mar Award” for culture in Music and was recognition by being named “Member of the International Music Council” by the CID UNESCO .
