THOUSANDS of Americans have the chance to win money from UnitedHealthcare’s massive “robocall” settlement payout. The health insurance company has agreed to a whopping $3.49 million class action lawsuit settlement.

But a number of Americans involved in the lawsuit against UnitedHealthcare were allegedly not even members of the company’s health plan. The American company, with a net worth of $478.50 billion, has had to pay millions in settlements over the years.

Regarding the “robocalls”, it has not admitted to any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $3.49 million to resolve the TCPA class action lawsuit.Class members who submit a valid claim form are estimated to receive between $50 and $125.

But payments will vary depending on the number of individuals making claims. To receive settlement benefits, members must submit a valid claim form by April 25, 2025.The final approval hearing for the UnitedHealthcare robocalls settlement is scheduled for July 10, 2025.

This comes as the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, Brian Thompson, was shot dead outside a New York City hotel in December. His alleged assassin Luigi Mangione could receive the death penalty if he is found guilty of killing Thompson. Mangione, a University of Pennsylvania graduate, has been charged with murder through the use of a firearm, two stalking charges, and a firearms offense.
