The rapper shared a video from the hospital on Instagram on Monday, letting his fans know that he no longer had control of the right side of his face. “This is me doing a full smile right now, by the way.

“Bro, I can’t even laugh right,” he said in a video while attempting to smile but failed. In a follow-up post, Lil Nas X requested that his fans quit being sad and assured them that he was well. The star did not reveal the cause of his illness, but fans speculated that it might be Bell’s Palsy, a nerve disorder that paralyzes a portion of the face.
