Ambrose Depasqua gave up just four hits in seven shutout innings, and Northern beat Carlisle 4-0 on Saturday. Northern’s offense slowly built a lead behind Depasqua’s pitching. The Polar Bears scored a run in the first, third, fifth and seventh innings to earn the win.
Matthew Kendall, Colby Pentz and Oskar Dees each had a team-high two hits. Dees went 2 for 3 with an RBI, while Kendall and Pentz went 2 for 4. Bradyn Sober earned the loss for Carlisle after allowing three runs (two earned) in 4.
