They have a 4.4 star rating across over 53,000 reviews on Amazon and are now reduced as part of Amazon Prime's Spring Deals Days sale

Having a pair of earbuds in your bag is always a life saver. Whether it's for when you get to the gym or to listen to a podcast on a long walk, they can help stave off a bit of boredom or block out the world for a little while. While the likes of Apple's AirPods can set you back upwards of £100, you don't have to spend anywhere near that much for a pair of decent quality earbuds.

For example, the P20i wireless earbuds from Anker are currently down to £15.99 from their usual £29.99, and have a 4.

4 star rating across over 53,000 reviews on Amazon. These buds sport a lot of the features that you'd expect from earbuds that cost a lot more than this, not least of which is the excellent audio quality from the 10mm drivers. You won't find any active noise cancelling on these earbuds, but the silicone tips do a decent enough job of blocking out a good chunk of noise anyway.

Battery life is rated to last as long as 30 hours when combined with the included case.

Drop the earbuds into the case when they're low and they'll charge up quickly, especially when plugged into the USB C port at the bottom, reports the Manchester Evening News . Despite their affordable price tag, the earbuds have an IPX5 water-resistant rating. While it's not advisable to submerge them in water, they're perfectly equipped to handle a bit of sweat during exercise sessions.

Customers who've purchased these earbuds have rated them highly. One said: "Earbuds very rarely last me, and I've been using Anker products for roughly about 2-3yrs. Never been happier.

I would recommend them as a cheap alternative to higher range earbuds, esp. if you already use decent headphones." Another buyer added: "I bought these to use as passive ear protection when I'm working with machinery, power tools, etc.

and although not designed for it they block external noises well due to the fit of the ear buds. Importantly for me these are lightweight and not bulky so don't get in the way of my welding helmet." A third said: "Brilliant quality sound and most importantly for me battery life.

The battery is really really good. I did own airpods but these I would personally say is better. And value for money.

" Another customer told: " Really good product. Good sound . Don't need to be buying the expensive ones.

I also have the Apple AirPods and there's no difference." However, some customers did have some constructive criticism to add. "I used to have Apple AirPods, but I bought the Soundcore by Anker P20i in an emergency.

While the sound quality for music and media was good, the call quality didn't meet my expectations. Voices sounded unclear, and the microphone performance wasn't great during calls. If you're looking for an affordable option for music, it's a good choice, but for calls, it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

" Another customer said: "They're a good fit for my ear, sound good and really highlight how much of a gouge AirPods are. That said, the USB-C charging port on the case is badly designed - might be the depth of the port or that it's located on a curved surface, but you have to faff about with the cable connection and how the case rests to ensure it take a charge. The slightest nudge can take it out of charging mode.

" For those seeking more style, the CMF by Nothing Buds Pro 2 could be an option. These wireless earbuds come in four colours and feature a volume wheel on the case, starting at £44.99 currently.

Sony also offers a selection of wireless earbuds, such as the WF-C510 , available in four colours and priced from £42.90.
