Amazon has kicked off its Spring Deal Days 2025 with a bang, launching on March 25 and set to dazzle bargain hunters until March 31. The event is showcases some great savings on many categories. Among the standout deals is the Vax Dual Power Pet Advance Carpet Cleaner , which has been crowned by shoppers as their "best purchase ever". The cleaner, typically priced at £169.99, is now up for grabs at £94.
99. With a £75 discount, savvy shoppers can get their hands on a carpet cleaner equipped with dual rotating brush bars to tackle stubborn dirt deep within the fibres. "We used a 2L milk bottle filled with warm water and 80ml of Vax cleaning fluid. It did take 8 litres due to the size but was touch dry within around 8 hours, although we did have the central heating on high. Well done Vax, really happy with this machine.
" Another added: " Excellent. Wish I'd bought one ages ago! Very good on old dirty carpets, photos show first clean, only thing I would say is that make sure you vacuum up first with a normal vacuum, as I didn't and had to clean out bits from the poor vax. Also a bit noisy but I wear earplugs for lots of things as I'm sensitive.
Excellent value for money!". A third said: " My best purchase ever! I bought this cleaner to do my daughter's end of tenancy clean and it was brilliant. She has a husky dog so you can imagine it had its work cut out and despite having hoovered first with a very good hoover the cleaner still brought pet hair out of the pile and left the carpets like new, refreshed and stain free.
" I was astonished at how dry it left the carpets and how easy it was to clean all the components through afterwards. The attachments were easy to use and despite feeling very light when I got it out of the box it was very robust but easy to manoeuvre. Would definitely recommend.
" But this shopper who gave it three-stars said: "I think its good enough for refresh but not sure about really in grimed stains. The item came with a small bottle of VAX carpet cleaner and spot wash. The other disappointing design factor was that you can't remove the plastic cover at the front of the machine and this can get clogged up with hair (which is what happened with my daughter's VAC).
