it's fantastic. Ryan Gosling plays a reluctant and inexperienced astronaut whose arm is twisted into saving humanity by going to space. The film is based on a beloved book by Andy Weir.
It looks funny and heartfelt, similar to the vibe of The Martian, and given the fact that it's written by Drew Goddard with Lord and Miller's direction, that's entirely fitting.
