Appearing across various networks, Coisty provides punditry and commentary for the likes of TNT Sports , ITV Sport and talkSPORT. After enjoying some time on holiday with pals including ex-Gers teammate Ian Durrant, McCoist is back in business. He provided commentary for Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final clash between Fulham and Crystal Palace and was back in the talkSPORT Breakfast chair this morning.

The concept launched by the North London giants, labelled 'The Big Match,' will see Arsenal fans set up on blind dates centred around Gunners games. It's a concept that sounds somewhat familiar - not least to the legendary TV show Blind Date.

It seems, however, that McCoist was NOT one of them.

As McCoist cast doubts over Arsenal's new show, Stelling asked him: "Coisty, are you telling me you weren't a lover of Blind Date?" Shebahn added: "That was a great show!" Having none of it, McCoist took aim. He blasted: "I'll tell you right now.
It might be the worst programme in history!" Aghast Stelling shouted "no" as Shebahn hit back with: "You're a disgrace. "Blind Date was our Saturday nights growing up." After Stelling quipped "with Cilla," McCoist responded: "I was aware it was with Cilla, I worked that out myself.
" Revealing the sort of programmes that tick his boxes, McCoist explained: "I'll tell you right now. There's an hour on a Saturday night, seven to eight o'clock. "Blind Date or are you watching Attenborough's Magical World?" Stelling hit back with: "Blind Date obviously.
" Unimpressed McCoist responded: "Oh come on! That's diabolical from you two. Attenborough all day for me. "I had an hour of him yesterday in the desert, man! What an eye opener.
That guy is just an absolute legend." Stirring the pot, Stelling continued with: "You'll be telling me next you don't watch Married At First Sight Australia!" Shebahn added: "MAFS Ally, what a show by the way!" However, it seems much like Blind Date, the smash hit E4 series isn't going to be on McCoist's list any time soon!
