GaadiWaadi -The second generation Skoda Kodiaq will be offered in two variants and it will be underpinned by the updated MQB EVO platformSkoda is gearing up to launch the next-generation Kodiaq in India tomorrow. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 earlier this year, the SUV is set to be assembled locally. Underneath, the new Kodiaq sits on the updated MQB EVO architecture enabling a larger footprint and thus a roomier interior too.

The upcoming Kodiaq brings in a more sculpted look that significantly ups its road presence. Up front, the redesigned grille now flaunts reshaped contours and pronounced vertical slats, giving the SUV a more commanding face. The new split LED headlamps seamlessly tie into the updated fascia.

Down below, the bumper has been reworked to feature wider central air intakes, further enhancing the SUV’s assertive stance. Framing the revised bumper are C-shaped air curtains. Along the sides, the design remains clean, marked by sculpted panels, beefy wheel arches and bold character lines on the bonnet.

A sharply angled windshield and new quarter glass inserts bring an appealing silhouette while the addition of newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof elevate the SUV’s premium appeal further.

Positioned to take on heavyweights like the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and Jeep Meridian, the new Kodiaq is expected to carry a starting price tag of around Rs. 41 lakh (ex-sh). Skoda will offer the new-gen Kodiaq in two trims for the Indian market: Sportline and Laurin & Klement (L&K).

Powering both variants is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that delivers 201 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Also Read: Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line Launched In India At Rs.
