Kia Syros compact SUV will be launched in India on December 19 and it will be packed with modern features including a panoramic sunroof and ADAS Kia India recently confirmed the name of its upcoming compact SUV, the Syros, following weeks of anticipation. Set to debut on December 19, 2024, the Kia Syros will fill the gap between the Sonet and the Seltos in the brand’s domestic lineup, offering a new option in the highly competitive five-seater compact SUV space. The Kia Syros is set to provide bigger dimensions and thus a larger footprint than the Sonet, enhancing interior space and practicality.
Teasers showcase a bold front design featuring a vertically stacked LED projector headlamp configuration, complemented by slim vertical LED DRLs. The styling takes cues from models such as the EV9 and Soul, adding a futuristic yet practical touch. The sub-4m SUV features upright pillars and a flat roofline and we expect it to boast optimized interior roominess and create a spacious, airy cabin atmosphere.
Its rear design is highlighted by L-shaped LED tail lamps that integrate with the pillars, compounding its boxy silhouette. Under the hood, the Syros will more likely offer three engine choices: a 1.0L turbocharged three-cylinder petrol, a 1.

The interior will come with modern features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility and a 10.25-inch digital instrument console.
Additionally, the equipment list will comprise ventilated front seats, a layered dashboard design, automatic climate control, and a panoramic sunroof as well as ADAS tech previewed in the teasers. It will also get six airbags as standard, ESC, EPB, traction control, a 360-degree camera system, adjustable headrests, wireless smartphone charger, rear AC vents and more.
