Allex Aguilera Joins Zelaya Artists For Management

Stage director and Set designer Allex Aguilera has joined the roster of Zelaya Artists for worldwide representation.Aguilera studied Opera Singing at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève and Film Directing in Barcelona. He has since directed productions at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, Palau de Les Arts de València, Teatro de la Maestranza, Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, Teatro Massimo di Palermo, and Teatro Verdi di Trieste.

This season, he staged Verdi’s “Otello” at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Bellini’s “I Capuleti e i Montecchi” at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde” at the ABAO Bilbao Opera and Donizetti’s “La Favorita” at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.Of his “Tristan und Isolde,” OperaWire said was “a faithful recreation of Wagner’s eternal love story. It was a minimalistic concept with a central wooden platform and two diagonal walls with circular windows in the middle.
