Barcelona legend Xavi has caught up with new boss Hansi Flick and wished the German well as he aims to guide the Catalans to glory this season. Flick succeeded Xavi as Barcelona boss over the summer and has enjoyed a strong season to life with the club, guiding his team to the top of the table in Spain. Barcelona are due to return to action after the international break on Sunday, but before then Flick has managed to catch up with Xavi and his family.

Flick has just marked 100 days as manager of Barcelona and has overseen several challenges in his short time in charge, such as the club’s continued financial restrictions and a host of injuries to key player. The German now faces the biggest week of his tenure so far with his team set to take on Sevilla, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in the space of seven days.
