Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios have been incredibly supportive of each other's careers since going public with their relationship late last year. On Sunday, Berrios suffered an unfortunate setback in his work life, injuring his knee in the Miami Dolphins' 16-10 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Dolphins said they feared the injury was serious, and on Monday, placed Berrios on injured reserve.

A short time ago, the veteran wide receiver and return man confirmed his season was over. "Absolutely heartbroken. Due to an injury yesterday my season is over, the road ahead is measured in months and not days, but I find comfort in knowing I’ve been here before," Berrios wrote on Instagram.

When he's not playing football, Berrios can frequently be found appearing in videos and podcasts with Earle, one of the internet's most popular influencers and social media personalities. The two regularly give the public behind-the-scenes peeks into their relationship, like when Earle surprised Berrios for his 29th birthday earlier this month. On Monday evening, Earle shared her boyfriend's post on her Instagram story, leaving a supportive message as a caption.

Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images "It's crazy how things can change in a matter of seconds...

especially seeing how much hard work you put into the game not only physically but mentally," Earle wrote. "Day in and day out you inspire me and I have no doubt that you will be back and better in no time. Proud to be by your side and cheer you on.

I love you." Berrios did not post a reception in six games this season while returning seven punts for 103 yards and three kickoffs for 76 yards. He's right about having to overcome adversity before, having missed his entire rookie year with the New England Patriots in 2018 with an injury.

Hopefully, the 2021 first-team All-Pro will have a speedy and full recovery this time around. In the meantime, be prepared to see more guest appearances from Berrios on Earle's TikTok and Instagram accounts. Related: Alix Earle's NFL Player Boyfriend Suffers Crushing Injury.
