Alia Bhatt said if a man asks her to quit acting, he is looking for someone else. Alia Bhatt married Ranbir Kapoor on April 14, 2022, after dating for a few years. In November 2022, they welcomed their daughter, Raha.

Before marriage, Alia Bhatt often said that Ranbir was her celebrity crush and that she would like to marry him. However, years before they even began dating, Ranbir asked Alia if she would be willing to quit acting for a man she fell in love with. Alia Bhatt’s reply was a vehement no.



While promoting Highway, Alia Bhatt and Imtiaz Ali shot a video with Ranbir where the two actors opened up about their lives and their views on acting. Ranbir asked Alia, “What’s your take on love? Right now, you’re one of those girls who’s like, ‘My career is the most important’..

." Alia said that she had never said this. Ranbir continued, “Would you get married to somebody who didn’t want you to act?" Alia said, “No.

" She explained, “I probably won’t act all my life, but I want to act for as long as I want. And if someone doesn’t want that for me, then you don’t want me. You want somebody else, and that person isn’t here, sorry.

" Alia Bhatt is celebrating her 32nd birthday on Saturday, March 15. Alia and Ranbir had gone to Alibaug to celebrate, but the trip was cut short when Ayaan Mukerji’s father, Deb Mukherjee, passed away on March 14. Alia and Ranbir rushed back to Mumbai to be with Ayaan during his tough time.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia Bhatt was last seen in Vasant Bala’s action-packed Jigra with Vedang Raina. She is currently shooting at night for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, also starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. She also recently shot for Alpha with Sharvari and Bobby Deol.
