Algarve railway modernisation debate

“Modernisation of the Algarve railway line – a missed opportunity?” will be debated in the “Sobre Carris” session today, 4 April, in the auditorium of the Lagos City Council, in the district of Faro.

The event, scheduled for 6pm, has as guest speaker Manuel Tão, a transport and mobility specialist and professor at the University of Algarve, the municipality said in a statement. The initiative will be recorded and will later be broadcast on the Sobre Carris programme and on the multimedia channels of the Público newspaper, says the note from the Lagos City Council ..
