Aleksandra Kurzak to Perform ‘Aida’ at Opera Krakowska

(Credit: Gregor Hohenberg)Opera Krakowska has announced that Aleksandra Kurzak will perform Verdi’s “Aida” during the 2025-26 season.The company said, “We are happy to announce that the wonderful soprano Aleksandra Kurzak has joined the cast of the November performances of the opera ‘Aida!'”Kurzak will perform the work three times on Nov. 15, 18 and 21, 2025.

The Polish star is set to make her role debut as Aida at the Arena di Verona this summer. This season, Kuzak is set to perform “Madama Butterfly” at the Berlin State Opera and “Tosca” at the Wiener Staatsoper and Berlin State Opera. The soprano recently performed the title role of “Fedora” at the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
