This season, Bayern Munich went through multiple changes, including hiring a new coach and partially rebuilding its squad. In a recent interview, Pavlović spoke in particular about Bayern’s first two Bundesliga games, against VFL Wolfsburg and SC Freiburg.
“The first halves of both Bundesliga games were great. We had control and the ball. The opponents had almost no chances.
Against Wolfsburg we came back well after the penalty and a weak phase and showed mentality. That was very good. In the Freiburg game we also lost control a little at the beginning of the second half.
