Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria have been slammed by fans after they admitted that their dogs pee and poop on a $40k rug. The Hollywood star and his family star in their own reality TV show, The Baldwins , which premiered on TLC in February. During the current run of episodes Alec, 67, and Hilaria, 41, have done a lot of talking about their pets and their toilet habits with one fan cutting all the clips into a montage and sharing it on social media.
In the video Alec is seen furious about their dogs as he rants about how they have weed and pooped on his expensive "Parisian" rug. Talking in one episode the couple's son, Romeo, 6, says: "They pee all over the house and they poop all over the house." The camera then pans around the room as the family discuss the toileting issues, with it stopping and zooming in on faeces all over the rug.
Alec then exclaimed: "These dogs gotta go," before adding that the family now "need new everything". Hilaria then explains matters further saying: "Our dogs have already completely marked their territory all over the rug that Alec really likes. The dog's s*** on the rug.
It's like poop everywhere," she then adds that they have also started to urinate all over the rug. Hilaria says they used to be "well-behaved dogs" but are now "really badly-behaved dogs." Talking in a confessional Alex admits that he was planning to get the rug cleaned later in the week before he begins arguing with Hilaria over her "lying" when she claimed that the dogs were toilet trained.
Alec then stressed: "Don't whiz on my $40,000 hand-ended Parisian rug," to which Hilaria asked: "Why are you spending $40,000 on a rug?" Fans were not impressed by the montage and took to Reddit to slam them for the unhygienic habits of their dogs. One fan wrote: "God that’s disgusting," as another added: "Couldn’t they hire an assistant or something to assist with the house maintenance?? That’s just nasty having all that pee and poop around!!! The house is not selling because it probably smells!!!!!!" A third commented: "No sane person will buy that house. Imagine the damage from urine and feces.
" A fourth social media user scathed: "You know DARN WELL they don’t take the dogs out on a regular basis or clean the kitty litter. They could ask any one of their servants to do so, but no." A fifth offered: "Can’t they hire a pet trainer to train these dogs?? It’s neglectful to treat pets this way.
Idk, pay a full time pet sitter." As a sixth pondered: "They should wear shoes in the house and yard. Why aren’t they letting the dogs out to go pee??" Alec and Hilaria have been married since 2012 and have a 26-year age gap.
The couple share seven children, Carmen, 11, Rafael, Nine, Leonardo, Eight, Romeo, Six, Eduardo, four, Maria, four, and Ilaria, two. Alec is also dad to daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, who he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
