The Specially Selected Garlic Bread Crinkle Cut Crisps, which are available for £1.15 for a 150g, were first introduced at Aldi in 2023. Now, due to popular demand, the supermarket has decided to bring them back and it’s just in time for picnic season.
The crisps are said to be “packed full of flavour” and “deliciously moreish” as they boast the taste of smoky garlic. While the crisps are back, they are returning as a Specialbuy so customers will need to be quick to get their hands on them and once they’re gone, they’re gone. It’s clear the crisps are a popular Aldi Specialbuy with customers asking the supermarket to bring them back.
A post in the in 2024 showed lots of bags of the crisps in an Aldi store and shoppers shared their excitement. One said: “Omg !! I wrote an email last month asking for them to bring them back !!” Someone else said: “These are a dangerous purchase as it's so hard to stop eating them!” Another commented: “I had these for the first time today, there sooo good”. The supermarket is constantly introducing new food items and other buys to its shelves but with that, some also have to leave.
While Garlic Bread flavoured crisps are a go, Aldi discontinued a popular chocolate bar that’s “much better than the Cadbury” equivalent, according to customers. It has now been revealed in the Facebook group that Aldi's has also been discontinued. Fans on the group recently reported being unable to find the popular Aldi chocolate bar - which some described as tasting like Nestle's Caramac.
Upon speaking to a manager at their local store, the Aldi shopper who created the post revealed the Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar has been discontinued. Other shoppers took the opportunity to reveal just how much they loved the Dairyfine Blonde chocolate bar. In the last year, Aldi has axed items such as its Village Bakery Seeded Medium Sliced Loaf, Salted Caramel Teabags, Very Berry Muesli and more.
