Work on the Nutter Chapel Road reconstruction project might begin in as soon as 4-6 weeks after the Conway City Council voted 7-0 to approve a resolution to accept a $1.5 million bid for the project at its regular meeting on Tuesday. A&B Dirt Movers will complete the project after it offered the lowest bid.
City Engineering Director Kurt Jones said half of the street will be closed at a time during the project that should be finished toward the end of the year. The street section along the project location will only be open to local traffic. Javascript is required for you to be able to read premium content.
