ALBANY — 677 Prime is turning 20 and hosting an anniversary celebration on Friday. The upscale steakhouse, located on Broadway in downtown Albany, has become a gathering place for politicians and business leaders over the years. When it was founded in 2005, it was owned by Mazzone Hospitality.

Chef Jaime Ortiz purchased it in 2017 and built his restaurant brand, Primary Food Group, around the steakhouse. He now owns three other restaurants and a cafe. Javascript is required for you to be able to read premium content.
