
Doha: Saudi rider Khaled Al Hadi guided Doremi du Flot Z to victory in the Small Tour - 115 cm class as the ninth round of the Longines Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour Season 8 at the Longines Arena at Al Shaqab on Thursday evening. Organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, the opening day of the competitions saw a massive number of entries, taking part in the Small Tour and Future Riders 60cm and 80cm events.
In the Small Tour which featured over 80 participants, Al Hadi claimed victory with the 10-year-old gelding, completing the course in 43.
78 seconds. Fahad bin Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani secured the second place with a time of 45.69 seconds astride Gabbana M, while Hamad Towaim Al Marri came third, completing the round in 47.
25 seconds astride Chin Van De Kranenburg.

In the Future Riders 60cm competition, Mubarak Nasser Ali secured first place, recording a time of 60.88 seconds, riding Currabawn Shadow. Alnajla Abdulla Al Khulaifi came second with 60.
86 seconds aboard Geale, while Jassim Saoud Al Fakhroo finished third, clocking 60.26 seconds on Cascade Sammy.
Action during the Future Riders competitions
In the 80cm category, Abdulla Faisal Al Mana claimed the victory riding Brooq, recording a time of 61.06 seconds. Mohammed Faisal Al Marri followed closely in second place with a time of 61.
13 seconds aboard Soul Rebel, while Tameem Saad Al Jabor completed the podium, finishing in 60.76 seconds riding Janne. Qatar Equestrian Federation President Bader Mohammed Al Darwish honored the winners of the Future Riders competitions.
