An Aiken-area man has been arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at another man during an argument over petting a dog. Aiken County Sheriff's deputies arrested Noah Hawks, 25, of Jackson, Sept. 19.

A man and another person said Hawks got a black, semiautomatic firearm from a friend Oct. 9, 2022 and pointed it at him after not being allowed to pet the man's dog, Deputy B. Morin reported.
