An Aiken man will serve life in prison after pleading guilty to murder Nov. 18.

An Aiken man will serve life in prison after pleading guilty to murder Nov. 18. Judge Roger Young accepted the guilty but mentally ill plea of Guillermo Diaz Jr.

and sentenced him to two life sentences. Though he pleaded guilty but mentally ill, Diaz will still serve his sentence, Deputy Solicitor Ashley Hammack said. But, he will have access to mental health programs, she added.
