Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcast is looking to launch a first-of-its-kind AI and ML-based dashboard for news story analysis and trend forecasting. The ministry is seeking an AI agency for the creation of this AI and ML-based dashboard. The dashboard based on the proposed design will help the Ministry be more response-oriented toward emerging trends by analyzing real-time news stories.
This will improve strategic decision-making with the public in general. Further, this AI-ML-based platform would cater to multilingual translation and voice localization so that information related to government initiatives reaches across languages efficiently. The Ministry issued an EoI (Expression of Interest) to seek responses from interested parties to design, develop, implement, and maintain this Integrated AI-ML Dashboard.
This dashboard will have advanced analytical tools to track the news trends and interpretation. It deals with numerous translation services under this multilingual platform, which includes text-to-text, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and speech-to-speech. Use AI and ML for an analysis of news content and predict the emerging news trends.
Multilingual Support: It needs to design a translation localization system that should support multiple Indian languages. Public Dissemination: It needs to enhance the ability to communicate Government initiatives towards the masses with the assistance of advanced AI Technologies. Terms of Contract: The Ministry invites the expression of interest from interested agencies to design and develop this AI-ML dashboard.
A shortlisted agency will be required to support the full lifecycle of the product, from design and implementation to ongoing support. This is an important step for the Ministry, which pulls towards closer integration between current technological advancement and improved strategic decision-making and engagement with the public. Bhashini is one advanced translation software, which translates Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s speech in different languages.
This is the latest skill that exercises commitment on the part of the government to ensure it bullies AI into breaking the barriers of language. As part of its efforts to reduce dependence on state governments for legal translations, the Union Law Ministry is preparing an AI tool to translate laws into Indian languages. To be placed in the hands of users by December, this tool promises to improve precision and efficiency in legal document translation.
