The makers unveiled the film’s teaser on Tuesday and Fawad’s fans were more than excited to see that their beloved star is all set to entertain them again. Khoobsurat Fawad made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 romantic drama film Khoobsurat, opposite Sonam Kapoor. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the film was loosely based on the 1980 film of the same name, featuring veteran actress Rekha. The film follows the story of Mrinalini “Milli" Chakravarty, a witty Delhi physiotherapist who finds herself attached to a royal family and their young prince, Yuvraj Vikram Singh Rathore (Fawad), resulting in a romantic comedy about love, family values and personal growth.

It is currently streaming on Netflix. Kapoor and Sons In 2016, Fawad appeared in Karan Johar-backed, highly acclaimed film Kapoor and Sons, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Siddharth Malhotra. Directed by Shakun Batra, the film follows the story of two brothers from a chaotic household.

Following their grandfather’s heart attack, they travel to Coonoor to visit their parents and grandfather. Meeting after a few years, both of them had a major fallout after Arjun (played by Sidharth) claimed Rahul (played by Fawad) stole his story and made it into a bestselling novel. The film is streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video.

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Fawad also appeared in a special cameo role in Karan Johar’s directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. In the film, he plays a DJ and Anushka’s love interest. The film also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a supporting role and Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance.

This one is streaming on Netflix as well as Prime Video. Coming back to Abir Gulaal, the film is directed by Aarti S Bagdi and produced by Vivek B Agrawal, Avantika Hari and Rakesh Sippy. It will be released on the big screens on May 9, and will face a Bollywood clash with RajKummar Rao’s upcoming comedy entertainer Bhool Chuk Maaf.
