According to officials, a police search party was attacked by terrorists at the remote Nuknali Nalla in the Bani area. This comes hours after overnight gunfight in Poonch 's Pathanateer area ended with a terrorist being injured.

Officials reported that blood stains were found near the site of the gunfight, indicating that one of the terrorists may have been injured. The area remains under a security cordon, and a search operation is ongoing to locate the fleeing militants. Following a tip-off about the presence of two to three terrorists, the police and Army had launched a joint search operation in the area on Saturday evening.
