Blinkit launched the service in partnership with Unicorn Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd.
Taking to LinkedIn, Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa said that iPhone 16 is currently available for rapid delivery in cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Lucknow, among others. Unicorn Infosolutions is also offering discounts with select credit cards, along with EMI options, Dhindsa added. Yesterday (September 19), BigBasket partnered with Croma to launch its fast delivery service for the iPhone 16.
With the much-anticipated sale of Apple’s iPhone 16 starting today (September 20), quick commerce giants like BigBasket, Blinkit and Zepto are vying to capture a share of the electronics market. It is pertinent to note that these players are expanding their electronics offerings to boost their average order value (AOV). Blinkit, in particular, led the quick commerce segment with an AOV of INR 625 for the quarter ending in June.
This move also aligns with Zomato’s efforts to diversify its product offerings. Last month, Zomato began delivering passport-sized photos within 10 minutes in Delhi and Gurugram. (The story will be updated soon).
