Jio has partnered with SpaceX to bring Starlink's broadband services to its customers. This partnership is subject to SpaceX obtaining the necessary authorisations to sell Starlink in India. Airtel recently announced a strategic collaboration with Elon Musk-led SpaceX to introduce Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet services in India. Now, Jio has followed suit, partnering with SpaceX to bring Starlink’s broadband services to its customers. This move aims to deliver reliable broadband services across the country, including the most rural and remote regions.
This partnership is subject to SpaceX obtaining the necessary authorisations to sell Starlink in India. Once approved, it will allow Jio and SpaceX to explore opportunities where Starlink can enhance Jio’s services, while Jio can support SpaceX’s direct offerings to consumers and businesses. Jio will make Starlink solutions available both in its retail stores and online platforms.
Additionally, Jio will provide customer support, including installation and activation services, to ensure a smooth experience for users.
