The date for next year’s exhibition clash between Fremantle and an Indigenous All Stars side has been revealed - and it’ll feature the rare sight of Michael Walters and Alex Pearce playing against their beloved Dockers. The game will be played at Optus Stadium on Saturday February 15, marking the return of an Indigenous exhibition side a decade after their last match. The Dockers confirmed Walters, Alex Pearce and star recruit Shai Bolton would all feature for the All Stars side against their AFL teammates.

“To run onto the field in this game is an incredible honour for the Fremantle Football Club,” Freo chief executive Simon Garlick said. “Fremantle has such a proud history when it comes to Indigenous players representing our club, not to mention the connections we have with communities all around WA and throughout Australia. “We embrace the strong culture with Indigenous people that has helped make us the club we are today, highlighted by more than two and a half thousand AFL games from 36 Indigenous male players.

” More to come.
