So, when Zoey turned 10 months old, she went under for what Lynne calls "the longest four hours of my life". A few weeks later, on April 25, the implant was activated - giving Zoey the ability to hear for the first time.

Travis and Lynne initially debated whether or not Zoey should have surgery to get a cochlear implant fitted.
