The government of India announced the recipients of the prestigious Padma Awards on Saturday (January 25), honouring individuals for their exceptional contributions to various fields. The announcement included 7 Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards, celebrating remarkable achievements across fields such as arts, literature, social service, and public affairs. Among the renowned personalities who expressed their gratitude for being involved in the selection process was singer and composer Adnan Sami.

It has been an immense privilege to serve alongside distinguished members and be inspired by the remarkable stories of awardees from diverse walks of life. Their achievements are a testament to the indomitable spirit of India." Adnan Sami also extended his warmest congratulations to all the Padma awardees, acknowledging their dedication and hard work that led to this well-deserved recognition.

These individuals have made outstanding contributions to their respective arts and will be remembered for their legacies. The Padma Bhushan award list includes several well-known figures, such as actors Anant Nag, Jatin Goswami, Nandamuri Balakrishna, S Ajith Kumar, filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, and actress Shobana Chandrakumar. Additionally, ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas will also be honoured.
