The late Rashidi Yekini is currently Nigeria’s all-time top scorer with 37 goals. Osimhen moved levelled on second position with the legendary Segun Odegbami (23 goals) after scoring in Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Benin Republic last Thursday.
The 25-year-old has now set his sights on surpassing Yekini’s mark. Adepoju believed Osimhen has what it takes to achieve the feat. “Osimhen has all it takes to break Yekini’s record,” Adepoju told SuperSport.
