The Righteous Gemstones actor shared the amusing anecdote involving Efron during a podcast recently. Here is what Devine revealed.

What did Adam Devine say about Zac Efron?Adam Devine revealed on Graham Bensinger’s podcast that Zac Efron, whom he considers a “good friend,” called him “out of the blue” six months ago after years of little communication. During their conversation, the latter expressed how much he missed Devine, who reciprocated the sentiment. The High School Musical star then questioned if he could crash at his beach house for two weeks, asking, “’Um, you still have that place down by the beach?’ ”“He’s like, ‘Would it be cool if I came and crashed with you for two weeks?’ I’m like, ‘Uh, yeah, sure, come stay with me.



’ He’s like, ‘Alright, I’m gonna call you tomorrow to get all the details, and then I’ll be there early next week, and then you’ll send me the address and all that.’ I’m like, ‘Alright,'” Devine revealed.Excited by the idea, Devine even informed his wife, Chloe Bridges, about the possible visit.

As mentioned before, Efron promised to call back the next day to finalize the details—but he never did.“I even texted him like, ‘Are you gonna stay here?’ And haven’t talked with him since,” the Pitch Perfect actor admitted, adding that Efron “ghosted” him. “So I’ve got no idea, dude,” he further stated.

The two actors, along with Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates co-stars Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza, still share a group text where they occasionally reminisce about their 2016 comedy.
