Aaron Taylor-Johnson addressed a big rumor about how actors get so ripped for their roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe . The 34-year-old actor just brought the titular character to live in Kraven the Hunter , a movie in Sony’s Spider-Man universe. However, he previously played Quicksilver in 2015′s Avengers: Age of Ulton .

For his latest role, Aaron put on a lot of muscle, saying that he gained 40 pounds. To pull it off, he trained and “ate so much f-cking food.” However, according to him, some Marvel stars have taken the easy way out.

By that, we mean that some actors are appearing on set in padded costumes. “I’ve worked on some Marvel films. You know those suits are padded,” Aaron said during an interview with Capital.

They asked if that meant that actors were appearing on sets with “built-in sixpacks.” He agreed, but it was even more than that! “Arms, everything. Butts.

I’ve seen some crazy pads. That’s me dishing some dirt,” he said. Aaron was asked if there were ever any padded bulges.

His response? “Maybe.” “I’m not saying who,” he added about which actors were in these padded suits. Unfortunately, Aaron ‘s new superhero movie performed historically badly in theaters.
