At the end of the third quarter of New York's emphatic win over the New England Patriots , Rodgers was brought down by Joshua Uche as he tried to make a play. But, as Uche dragged Rodgers to the floor, the defender's body rotated and rolled up on Moses' leg - causing it to buckle awkwardly.

Moses was immediately writhing on the floor in agony but, after some treatment, eventually managed to walk off the field. He went into the blue medical tent for more treatment and then walked off the field before getting carted back to the locker room. Rookie Olu Fashanu came in to replace him for the fourth quarter.
