Aaron Rodgers continues to make his weekly appearances on "The Pat McAfee Show" despite the New York Jets' crumbling 2024 NFL season. On Tuesday, the 40-year-old quarterback joined the show to discuss several topics with McAfee and his crew — including the Detroit Lions' thrilling comeback victory over the Houston Texans on Sunday night. Despite throwing five interceptions, Jared Goff and the Lions were able to mount a 26-23 victory and improve their 2024 season record to 8-1.

When talking about the game, Rodgers unintentionally pushed a false narrative about Goff's NFL career. "An amazing stat though. Is this a true stat? He's thrown four or more picks seven times and he's won every single one of those games.

Is that real?" Rodgers said. "Yes. 7-0," McAfee's co-host Boston Connor replied.

This stat is completely made up. Goff has thrown four or more interceptions twice in his nine-year NFL career. Sunday night's game was his first win with 4+ picks, making him 1-1 in such games.

if you’ve ever wondered how easy it is to spread fake information i made this stat up while laying in bed at halftime of the game😭 https://t.co/4m2NnSh6qh pic.twitter.

"When I’m in a misinformation contest and my opponent is Aaron Rodgers," another added. "Aaron Rodgers? That Aaron Rodgers fell for fake news? No way!" another wrote. Rodgers being duped on this one is just so damn on the nose.
