Aamir Khan greeted fans on Eid with Rajkumar Santoshi, sparking Andaz Apna Apna 2 rumours. The classic film's re-release is set for April 25, 2025, with talks of a sequel. Aamir Khan made an appearance for paps and his fans on the occasion of Eid.
The actor, in an all-white kurta-pyjama set, was clicked on his balcony while talking to someone over the phone. Despite being busy, he ensured he waved and greeted paps with a smile on the festive occasion. The actor was clicked beside Rajkumar Santoshi, who directed Andaz Apna Apna.
Aamir Khan was papped at his home on the occasion of Eid . The superstar’s sister Nikhat Hegde was also spotted, marking a family reunion on the occasion of Eid. Fans also noticed Rajkumar Santoshi standing on the balcony beside Aamir, leaving fans guessing whether the script of Andaz Apna Apna 2 is in the works.

They expressed excitement on Aamir Khan and Salman Khan’s thoughts about the possibility of starring in the sequel together. They told The Times of India, “Recently, Aamir bhai mentioned that Salman sir and he are keen on doing the Andaz Apna Apna sequel.
We are thrilled that they both are excited and in light of this, we will start talks with them right after the re-release of Andaz Apna Apna on April 25." They further added, “Talks with Rajkumar Santoshi ji have been ongoing for years. It also includes (those) during our father producer Vinay Kumar Sinha’s lifetime.
However, nothing concrete has been finalised with him till now. We will make an official announcement under as soon as discussions with the actors and director are complete and a strong script is locked." Andaz Apna Apna is a cult classic Hindi comedy film starring Aamir Khan and Salman Khan in the lead roles, with Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor as the female leads.
