In a primetime showdown between the two powerhouses battling for the top spot in the SEC standings, Aggies defensive lineman Shemar Turner was especially hyped throughout the day.

First, in pre-game warm ups, Turner was one of the main players yelling during a scream-and-shoving match with the visiting opponents. Turner is shown shoving LSU players with his airpods in and also elbowing a member of the Tigers in the back. In the third quarter, after a Garrett Nussmeier incompletion, Turner headbutted the LSU quarterback, which resulted in a flag and continued LSU's drive deep into Aggie territory.

The drive ended up in a botched field goal attempt for the Tigers. "We're kind of making light of this, but this is not good," ESPN commentator Kirk Herbstreit said of Turner's antics. Herbstreit also said Turner's headbutt was a result of Nussmeier talking trash to him during the game.
