A popular Columbia food truck is closing after 4 years

After four years of serving Columbia, Venezuelan Good Food owner announced that the popular food truck will be closing its shutters. Here's what we know so far.

COLUMBIA — After four years of serving Soda City, popular food truck Venezuelan Good Food will close its shutters on Sept. 29. Slinging tortas, Latin-style hot dogs and arepas, Venezuelan Good Food got its start in 2020.

Today, the unmistakable, bright-yellow truck has made appearances across Columbia — from the weekly Soda City Market to WECO Bottle and Biergarten . "Thank you all for the support during these 4 years, they were great!!" said owner Victor Antonio Lammoglia in a Sept. 12 Facebook post on group Columbia Foodies .



On a Sept. 13 Facebook post on the team's business page, they added, "We feel so sad but we are sure other opportunities will come!" Until its closing date, Venezuelan Good Food will be open Friday through Sunday on 1400 Augusta Rd., West Columbia.
