The boy has admitted that, in order to defend his mother, he attacked his father with a knife. The initial sentence was two years of closed confinement, but the court has replaced it with a term of supervised release. Specifically, the substitution of the sentence is conditional on strict compliance with twelve behavioral guidelines.



These conditions include the obligation to continue with his schooling, ongoing psychological monitoring, drug testing, avoid associating with criminal circles, participate in sports and social leisure activities, and restrictions on nighttime movements. Compliance with these measures will be ensured by an intensive care team of educational and social workers. The sentence records how the boy stabbed his father five times, causing serious injuries to his liver, diaphragm, and right lung.

Although he was taken to the hospital, he eventually died. The minor confessed to the facts during the hearing held at the City of Justice in Murcia, and also accepted the supervised release measures proposed by the public prosecutor. Finally, the judge issued a the sentence in accordance with the law and has agreed to replace the custodial sentence with alternative measures.
