Atwater Village taco and burrito window Tacos Villa Corona is opening a second location in Eagle Rock. This is the first expansion in the restaurant’s more than three-decade history; the new location was announced in an Instagram post that estimated an opening in five to six months. The original location of Tacos Villa Corona has been open since 1993, serving tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and burritos out of its window on Glendale Boulevard.
The restaurant is best known for its breakfast burritos, which come stuffed with a base of potatoes or chilaquiles, plus eggs, cheese, onions, and more. Optional add-ins include nopales, beans, chorizo, and bacon.
