Francois Ravard Marianne began dating record producer Francois Ravard in 1994 before she later moved to Paris in 1999 to live together. She described her French boyfriend as her 'soul mate' yet despite 15 years together, the pair parted ways in 2009 after their relationship hit the buffers. She said at the time: 'I'm all right but I have had a bit of an adventure - my relationship broke up.
'I felt very betrayed and lonely. I am much, much better now, but it is not good for your self-esteem.' Francois supported Marianne through her breast cancer diagnosis in 2006 with him being described as noting short of 'heroic'.
In 2007, the star said she hoped she and Francois would be together for ever. 'He has been my lover for 13 years,' she told an interviewer. 'It's the longest I've ever managed [to be with someone].
I've obviously found my soul mate.' Despite their split the pair remained friends and he still acted as her manager.
