Heavy Handed's opening date is slated for March 28, marking the third Southern California location for the popular smash burger maker.
In a fairly rapid turnaround at the 2,300-square-foot restaurant, co-founders Max Miller and Danny Gordon converted the beloved All Day Baby into their signature bold orange, red, and graffiti-laden brand in less than 63 days. Diners can find Heavy Handed’s favorites like the short rib smash burger, beer and wine, beef-tallow fries, and soft serve. On Silver Lake’s opening day, they’ll begin selling bottles of sauce and pickle jars at all locations.
Silver Lake’s smash burger options include some of Los Angeles’s most influential, including For The Win and Burgers Never Say Die. Co-founders Danny Gordon and Max Miller opened their Heavy Handed Studio City outlet in April 2024 and Santa Monica original in 2022.Starting March 28, Heavy Handed Silver Lake’s hours will be 11:30 a.

No one was hurt in the blaze, but officials dismantled the building out of fear for public safety, reports CBS News.Hollywood Voodoo Doughnuts near completionThough the opening date isn’t clear, the next LA Voodoo Doughnuts location is closer to opening on Melrose and La Brea Avenues, next door to Pink’s Hot Dogs. The Portland, Oregon-based national chain will also open a Venice location on Windward Avenue between Speedway and Pacific in 2025.

Another handroll bar headed to Culver City’s Jinya’s founder and CEO, Tomo Takahashi, will open Saijo Hand Roll and Kushiyaki on April 2 in Culver City.
